I’ve lived in Madison since relocating here for college in 1993 after attending Riverside University High School in Milwaukee. Personal milestones include raising two daughters, Evelyn and Lola, being an active church member, and helping organize Atwoodfest, a favorite east-side summer festival.

For more than a decade, I have owned investment real estate and served as a resource for people buying, selling, managing, maintaining, and renovating both single-family homes and rental properties. My background in sales and marketing gives me an in-depth understanding of what messages, delivery methods, and avenues successfully sell a home. I use these skills to help buyers understand the process—minus the spin—and focus on what matters today and years from now when it’s time to sell.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Communication Arts and a concentration in Radio, TV, and Film. After college, I joined local radio stations Entercom Communications as an Account Manager and later became a President’s Circle member, servicing a broad customer base while developing marketing campaigns. During this time, I completed the coursework to obtain my Home Inspection training, Real Estate License, and Broker’s License.

In April 2005, I joined a real estate firm with a friend and mentor. After working with a small number of brokerages, I landed at Lauer Realty Group, collaborating with local Realtors® who value teamwork and shared success.

Home buying and selling, rental properties, fixer-uppers, two-flats, and renovations—I have experience with it all. In 2008, I renovated a former two-unit into a home for my family. In 2010, I completed my first collaborative renovation, a four-unit property owned by Deacon Housing LLC. Today, I own, partially own, or manage nearly 30 units.
