It’s the time of year for the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art Spring Gallery Night and we are so excited to feature Lindsey Salzwedel of Expressively You at our Atwood office this year.
Atwood Ave Spring 2022 Featured Artist: Lindsey Salzwedel of Expressively You
“As a Dane County native, I grew up around the various Madison area attractions. Although, I only remember going to a few of the places as a kid, I did have an opportunity to experience the Children’s Museum and the Mallards in my 30’s with the same childlike enchantment.
As the illustrator of “Goodnight Madison” I had the privilege to recreate various places in our Capitol city for kids and adults to enjoy. My sixteen digital paintings have become a colorful, utopian vision of what makes Madison special. I believe my illustrations help people remember the times when we gathered with ease to experience the sights, sounds and smells of Madison! From the aroma of Ian’s Pizza trialing down State Street to the sunsets of the Memorial Union Terrace there is much to do as a Madisonian! “
