What Client Say
“Rachel made buying our first home an unforgettable experience. Her enthusiasm and optimistic outlook made our search fun and easy. Rachel listened closely to what we were looking for in a house, and her knowledge helped us target exactly what we wanted. She was willing to go out of her way to make sure we did not settle for something that did not fit us. Once we found our house, her understanding and explanation of the closing process helped alleviate many of our concerns. Our entire home buying experience was better than we could have hoped for and almost all of the credit goes to Rachel. The only negative aspect is, now that we have found our dream home, we no longer get to see Rachel on a regular basis!” -Amy and Mike
“Rachel has been patiently working with us for to find our next house on the near east side of Madison. We greatly appreciated that she would only tell us about houses that truly met our must haves (or could be added). We often asked to houses that looked great on the outside only to find out they were sorely lacking in features. Rachel communicates very well, is very knowledgeable, and fun to work with. We finally found our dream house outside of our ideal area, which she tactfully told us on occasion. She helped with our offer and counter offer, and really sold us to the current owners that we would be great stewards of this home they really love.”
“It’s been a year and a half since we moved in to our wonderful home and we still talk about what a great experience we had with Rachel. (Seriously!). She was so knowledgeable and patient with us as first time home buyers, and not pushy at all. Rachel has lots of knowledge about homes on a budget, and what can be easily fixed versus avoided at all costs, and we really appreciated all her tips. The entire process was a great experience and we felt supported by Rachel & the entire Liz team during every step of the way. As a couple in our 20’s, Rachel gave us the tools to search on our own online as well as selecting homes for us to tour. We really enjoyed being able to choose which houses to visit – and had fun touring them with her! The most important part to us was how honest Rachel was to us. It was clearly apparent that she really cared that we were in the right house, in the right neighborhood, for the right price. (And in the end, we couldn’t be happier!).” -TL and Dale
“Rachel helped us buy our first home. She made the experience as stress free as possible. She was very knowledgeable and wasn’t going to let us settle. She was great about listening to what we wanted in a home as well as helping us determine how to prioritize our wish list. I would recommend Rachel as an agent!” – Kasey S.
“We were purchasing our first home and Rachel helped us navigate the process, all the while helping us find a home that was right for us. She quickly learned what ‘our style’ was. Rachel also was quick to ask ‘tough’ questions of the seller to get to the bottom of potential issues such as outdated or underperforming utilities in the house (old, leaking water heater, outdated furnace, etc.). She was also amazing with our then 1.5yr old (who adored her) which made viewing multiple houses in a morning with toddler manageable! If we had it to do over again, Rachel would be our first call, hands down.” – Dave L.
“Rachel was referred to us by a friend since we were new to Madison and clueless about all of the different neighborhoods and the home buying process in general. Rachel is very down to earth, honest (pointing out pros/cons in a home), helpful (even with our little kids we brought along everywhere), and very knowledgeable. It is obvious she really enjoys all aspects of the home buying process from the first meeting to the home inspections. She isn’t just looking for a quick sale – she wants to take the time to find the right home for her clients regardless of budget.” – Jill B.
“My husband and I were referred to Rachel through friends of ours who had a very positive experience with her. We had tried to buy once before and had an absolutely awful experience with a different agent, so we were scared to try again. We were more than pleased with the absolutely fantastic job she did! Rachel made herself available for showings, emails and phone calls when we had questions and was very honest with us. She helped us get past that first time buyer idealism and really look at houses that were affordable, practical and in neighborhoods we liked. We really appreciated all the time she took with us and won’t hesitate to recommend her to friends and family looking to buy in the area.” – Angela
“My husband and I began looking at houses online and knew it was time to find a realtor. We were connected with the Liz Lauer agency through a listing on Trulia. They recommended Rachel to us as a buyers agent. We were so happy she was recommended to us. This was to be our second home purchase, but our first one did not go so well. Rachel was everything that realtor wasn’t. She was very honest and responsive. She answered any questions and helped calm any concerns we had. She has a lot of knowledge about the area and was an expert at negotiation and explaining the whole process to us. I feel like she was always looking our for our best interests and on our side, not just out to make a quick sale. She really made the process fun and painless. I would recommend her to anyone needing a realtor.” – Diann B.
