We did it! We made it through March! Now we can believe that spring really is here (and all the mud that goes with it). So get outside, enjoy those blooming daffodils and go explore this beautiful city of ours. Here are some highlights for you to check out throughout the weekend.
For The Lovahs
Friday Apr 1, 2016 8:30 PM
Dan Savage, the Dear Abby of kink is hosting a live recording of his Lovecast at the Barrymore on Friday night. Known as an entertaining sex savant, Savage is also appreciated for his sage philosophical perspective on the more platonic facts of life. Certainly not one for the whole family, but definitely for anyone looking to learn what you’ve always wanted to know but were afraid to ask.
For Future Scientists
Saturday Apr 2, 2016 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
There are a lot of benefits to having a world-class research institution in your midst, and Science Saturday is certainly one of the best. Bring the kiddos to the Discovery Building to experience over 40 hands on activities then hop on a trolley to visit other campus locations and enjoy science shows throughout the UW.
For First Nations (and their friends)

Sunday April 3 – Doors open 10 am-7 pm – Grand Entry at 1pm
This weekend brings the always-spectacular Spring Powwow back to Madison.
