The first is that when you hire a team, you are hiring a number of salespeople and brokers to help spread the word that your home is on the market. We sit down almost every Monday morning at 8:30 here at our office on Atwood and discuss any new listings that we have coming that week or in the weeks to come. This provides not only our agents with the knowledge of that home hitting the market, but allows our network of Buyers, friends and agents the opportunity to find out about new listings as they hit the market.
The second, like any other well-oiled machine, we are constantly receiving leads for people looking to buy or sell specific properties. With our team of seven it is very likely that one of us may have the perfect person in mind when that home does come on the market and so the days on market for that property may be significantly less. In a market like 2015 and 2016 where we see that many homes that are listed have accepted offers in 24 hours or less with multiple offers, it is comforting to know that as a team we are able to cover one another. The prime example of the advantage here is that if you were to be working with a single agent that does not have any backup and the perfect home hits the market you risk losing out on the opportunity to see or write an offer on that property. With seven agents you will almost never run into that problem. Constant communication as well as a solid knowledge of the market, all seven of our agents are ready to assist in case something should happen.
Finally, we have a top notch administrative staff that is at our disposal almost always. This means that when we are not directly in contact with you from the time you have an accepted offer to the time you close on your dream home, one of our assistants will be right here ready to answer any question for you to the best of their ability.
